Individual & Family Counseling for Youth, Adolescents, and Adults

The Child Center of NY provides therapy and support to children, adolescents, families, and adults who are struggling with a range of emotional and social difficulties. Our caring and qualified staff help clients build resilience, develop social-emotional skills, work through trauma, improve self-esteem, succeed in school and at work, thrive in life, and develop coping skills that will help them handle challenges now and in the future.

We offer culturally sensitive assessment and treatment/counseling services, including medication management and psychiatric evaluations (when applicable), by licensed social workers, psychiatrists, registered nurses, and psychiatric nurse practitioners. Medicaid and many third-party insurance plans are accepted. Fees for individuals without insurance are determined based on family income. All three of our wellness centers are state-of-the-art and recently renovated so you can get the high-quality care that every family deserves.

Wellness centers are open six days a week for in-person and remote services. Please see below for site-specific information (additional office hours can be scheduled as needed).

You can reach any of our wellness centers listed below by calling our main wellness center number, 718-358-8288.
Our fax number is 718-358-5265.

We have staff who collectively speak two dozen languages and are ready to assist you in the language you speak. When you call our main wellness number, you can listen to our options in English, Bengali, Chinese, or Spanish for assistance in reaching the services you need; you may leave a message in any language, and we will assist you in that language.
